Description
An exquisite Antique late Victorian locket fashioned in Sterling Silver with beautiful, engraved patterning across the front and a golden frame with Silver balls surrounding it.Â
Forget me nots and Ivy can also be seen highlighted in Rose and Yellow Gold on the front. They carry a long-lasting symbolism of love and remembrance and were, therefore, popular motifs on lockets containing images of loved ones.
The piece is complete with maker’s initials (J&.F.S) on the back along with hallmarks which have faded over time but indicate it was made in Birmingham in the late 1800s. Â
It’s in pristine condition and complete with rims and windows within so two cherished photographs can be inserted and kept close to the heart.
